The next Carson City School District School Board meeting will take place tonight, Tuesday Nov. 8 beginning at 7 p.m. at the Robert ‘Bob’ Crowell Board Room within the Carson City Community Center.
Items up for discussion at the school board include language updates, Superintendent evaluations, school site visits, and more.
— A presentation will be held regarding the Renewal Application for CCSD Work-Based Learning, which will include an update on the program.
— A discussion will be held on proposed changes to a policy regarding the Emergency Operations of Schools. These are language updates.
— A Superintendent report will be presented regarding a site visit to schools, departments and programs.
— Possible action will be held regarding the approved suggested revisions to the district’s Strategic Plan: Empower Carson City 2022, as well as the approval of the proposed metrics for the plan.
— An informational update will be presented regarding the Preliminary 2022 Cohort Graduation Rates for the district.
— A discussion and possible action will be held regarding the process for completing the superintendent annual evaluation for the 2022 calendar year.
